Few words used in cycling are as evocative as “flying”. Anyone who rides knows the feeling. Cyclists exude a similar spirit of flight and adventure showed by early aviators. Our machines share more than the raw materials they are crafted from. In fact, throughout history, aviation’s greatest inventors had deep roots in bicycles. “Barnstormers” took those inventions to the air, showed the world their capabilities and captured imaginations. Now the Barnstormers Adventure Cycling Club takes this spirit to the routes less traveled. We ride modern machines across amazing landscapes in a quest for the most elusive and desirable feeling to be had on a bicycle, to fly.
